Wabi Sabi House Design. Wabi Sabi style was selected by the owner to design his home. The clients purchased the property assuming the house would be a teardown.
This old complicated concept comes from Zen Buddhism thus sharing its characteristics like austerity and communication with nature. Our second and last featured project was entitled Wabi-Sabi. Wabi Sabi House sits on the backwater of South Creek in Osprey Florida on a large lot filled with cabbage palms and Australian pines.
Together the phrase invites us to set aside our pursuit of perfection and learn to appreciate the simple unaffected beauty of things as they are.
